Parkville Days are August 19-21, 2022, and The Parkville Days Parade will be held on August 20, 2022.

The Parkville Days Parade

The parade starts at 10:00 am. Parade floats will be lined up at 63rd Street and Highway 9 in the Parkville Commons area. Parade attendees are encouraged to come early and line the street up Main Street in front of all the Main Street shops. Bring chairs and water to stay hydrated!

 

Catherine’s Dance Studio has long been a fixture in the parade line-up boasting the most participants with their float and winning “Best Float” for many of the years we’ve had a float in the parade. It looked like a sea of pink coming down the street into downtown Parkville! Each year we choose a theme, and dancers who are registered for the fall classes, along with many parents, walk the parade route with the studio flat.  There is a gathering after the parade for a large group photo and snacks to follow.

Catherine’s Dance Studio is celebrating 10 years as a dance studio in downtown Parkville. Please join them as parade attendees or registered dance students! To register for fall classes, please go to the Home page and fill out the “We want to dance” form.
